Controlling The Fabric Bastemas

I am offering this basting stitch for your convenience. The additional

stitches are the ones that I made in response Rosy Kay's request late

last year. She thought because of all the conversation about hooping

problems I might offer Bastemas for all of you and so here it is in

Hus. Pes.(large hoop)and Pcs.

Basting in the color of fabric or the majority of the design color works

the best, so the basting thread doesn't show if it is hard to remove. I

usually I baste the square and the X and only add the + when the

project needs the extra stability. The small square is perfect for small

designs.
